The Writers' Guild founded Breathe. This spiritually-minded group of West Michigan freelancers and authors is dedicated to equipping self and others for the calling of writing.

Cynthia Beach
Long-time English professor Cynthia Beach freelances and serves as a writing and creativity coach through her organization Soul Seasons (SoulSeasons.org). Currently she is working on a MFA in fiction and is marketing a novel manuscript. She speaks locally to various groups on topics like creativity, writer's block and other topics related to creative and spiritual formation.

Angela Blycker
Author and advocate Angela Blycker grew up near the shores of Lake Michigan where her love affair with water and God first began. Holding a degree in biblical studies and international missions, she has long possessed an affinity for the nations and the work of thoughtful writing and research, serving as a writing consultant to a variety of churches and ministries. Angela deeply care about the issues of women and their children globally. She and her husband Ben, along with their three children presently make their home in Southwest Florida where they serve with New Missions Systems International. Her first book, Running into Water: Women Immersed in the Pursuit of God (Authentic, 2009) is forwarded by Nichole Nordeman saying, "Angela's writing is fiercely alive with conviction and challenge, yet still utterly personal, both raw and revealing.
